Mr Paul Newman, QDOS Homes Ltd

Richard and his team at RCC Town Planning Consultancy have successfully assisted us on numerous projects and planning applications in the Wiltshire area. Their excellent, clear and professional advice, gained from specialist knowledge of the planning system including local and national planning policy, environmental considerations and local concerns, together with advice of layouts and design has been invaluable to the success of our applications. They approach all matters with diligence, professionalism and commercial understanding. We look forward to working with them on our next project and would certainly recommend their services.

Mr Steve Melcher, Alfold

I am extremely pleased with this outcome and thanks for the help provided by Richard and Vicky. I have been involved with several planning applications with our local planning office and working with your firm has made a potentially painful experience both hassle free and straightforward.

Mr Paul Langham, Littleton Panell

We retained RCC to help solve what should have been a straightforward planning application in our garden. RCC brought clarity to the discussions and clearly set out to the planning authorities where their incorrect assumptions were. The work RCC did for us resulted in the planning application being passed and we were delighted with the work.

Mr Craig Dalby, Bromham

I would recommend RCC Town Planning Consultancy without reservation. We have used them on several occasions now, each time with a successful outcome. Richard has submitted planning applications for us involving a conversion to a granny annex, replacement garaging and a new build home. He is very approachable and easy to communicate with, and responds to calls and emails very quickly. He and Jenny had to comprise a report for a planning application for us, which was comprehensive and with a successful outcome. Thank you Richard and his team we are very grateful.

Mr & Mrs Saunders, Bradenstoke

We have been very impressed with the professional and smooth approach taken by Richard and Vicky to secure full planning permission on our stable conversion after we had to re-apply for planning. We were doubtful about our chances of success due to the complexities involved and so approached Richard for help, as we had seen that he had worked successfully on the original planning application by previous owners. Richard and Vicky calmly and efficiently produced an application, with very little input needed from us, that was accepted with no conditions attached.

Mr Jon Stirland, Stype near Hungerford

I cannot thank Richard and his team enough for all there assistance in helping us gain planning permission for both residential and commercial projects. The whole process was carried out in a professional and straightforward manner.

Mr R Thomas, Winchester

Many thanks to Richard and Rachel for making what would have been a complex and daunting process into something where I hardly feel I lifted a finger. Helpful and professional throughout I received good, honest advice which combined with regular feedback on the process meant I felt well looked after throughout. All this led to a successful approval for something that could have otherwise been a real challenge given both a change of use and listed building status being involved. Will definitely use again if I have the need for their services in the future.

Mrs Reid, Wiltshire

I would thoroughly recommend RCC Town Planning Consultancy.

I recently instructed them with regard to what we thought would be a fairly straightforward equine planning application.

As things turned out, it became quite time-consuming and fiddly. Richard and his team took it all in their stride to a satisfactory conclusion. They are easy to deal with, efficient and knowledgeable in their field. I was very happy with the service they provided.

Ms Greenslade, Berkshire

Richard and his team at RCC Town Planning supported us to successfully appeal a refusal decision on our planning application. At this point we had submitted our application twice and the second time round we were still refused. Our application was unusual but we felt reasonable and needed an expert eye to help us appeal. Richard took the time to understand our proposal and was able to advise on what the best approach to our appeal would be. All correspondence was timely and Richard ensured we understood the process at every step. We felt reassured throughout that we chose the right team to support us and we are over the moon with the outcome. We would recommend RCC Town Planning to any who have planning issues or queries and would definitely appoint Richard and his team again.

Lucinda Fredericks, Little Cheverell

This is the second time I have hired Richard and the team at RCC Town Planning to manage an application for planning permission for my equine yard (www.lucindaferdericks.com). Richard was able to advise and highlight any possible issues before they might occur during the application process. Richard and Rachel were extremely professional and offered a cost effective process leading to a successful conclusion. I would highly recommend this company to you.

Mr P Vaughan, Launceston

Richard and the team at RCC town planning helped me to successfully secure a lawful development application for a log cabin. I had previously undertaken a pre-application that had been rejected by the council, which complicated the matter, but through their advice I was able to work around certain issues that the pre-application had thrown up. They kept me informed throughout the process, and were able to suggest options that ultimately ended with the application being granted. The team are friendly and approachable, and made what can be a confusing process straightforward and understandable. I would happily recommend their services.

Mr & Mrs Butler, Avebury Trusloe

Richard and Rachel provided excellent advice and steered us through a potentially difficult planning application as we are based in a World Heritage Site with a number of constraints. Rachel produced a very comprehensive application for us and helped us secure a successful outcome. They have many excellent contacts and we would have no hesitation in recommending or using RCC Town Planning Consultancy in the future.

Roy, Kate Parker and Thelma Gittins, Devizes

Richard and the team at RCC Town Planning were recommended to us for their expertise in navigating the planning procedure, and what could have been a complicated and frustrating process was made far simpler and quicker by employing their talents. They were friendly and professional throughout, and highlighted and dealt with any potential issues that arose with excellent communications and a knack for explaining perplexing issues in layman’s terms.

We would have no hesitation in recommending them for any planning issues.

Mr Peter Self, Whitehall Garden Centre

On behalf of the Self family, we would like to sincerely thank Richard and the RCC Town Planning team for their hard work and dedication in achieving being granted full permission by the Wiltshire strategic planning committee for the reordering and extension to our family run Whitehall Garden Centre at Lacock (www.whitehallgardencentre.co.uk).

Our application was always going to be complicated with many historic, difficult and sensitive issues and being in a sensitive rural area, Richard carefully and expertly put together the planning application for which we received very little objection and a huge amount of support after our community and customer consultation events.

Following our initial Pre App meeting with the Local Planning officer, Richard coordinated the team of outsourced consultants required to report on the application and continued liaising with the Planning team and dealt with their enquiries promptly and kept the application flowing.

We cannot speak highly enough of the quality of service we have received from Richard and his team and would fully recommend their services.

Gary Dalton, Tenant farmer at Bushton Farm

At Bushton Farm we had a challenging planning proposal and Kevin Haines of Haines construction recommended RCC Town Planning Consultancy. We followed this recommendation and found Richard to have a great deal of knowledge and a positive attitude throughout the application. Our landlord was surprised at our result and commented “you must have engaged a very good planning advisor”. Richard was able to answer questions promptly. Also involved in this case was Max Seally of White Avon Consultancy in an agricultural capacity.

Mr & Mrs Coppin, Great Cheverell, Wiltshire

We would highly recommend using RCC Town Planning Consultancy. We originally had a very contemporary design in a rural setting and RCC were realistic about our chances as we were met with local opposition. Having taken the advice of Richard and his team, after Richard had had extensive communications with the planning officer, we withdrew the application and re-designed the proposal. Richard and his team understood the elements of the design with which we did not want to compromise and with their help in liaising with our architect we came up with a new design following the points that the planning officer made and as a result we made a successful application.

Without the input from RCC this would certainly not have been achieved and we are very thankful for all they did for us.

Mr & Mrs Dalby, Bromham, Wiltshire

We would highly recommend using the expertise of RCC Town Planning Consultancy when applying for planning consent. We had a difficult experience initially when dealing with the planning department but Richard and his team were able to guide us through the process resulting in a positive outcome, we will be using them again, many thanks.

J and M Bodman Ltd, Urchfont

Having used Richard Cosker in a previous planning application which led to a successful decision notice, we had no hesitation in seeking his expert help and advice on achieving planning permission for a second agricultural dwelling that was proving to be difficult.

His expert knowledge and tenacity helped guide us through the negotiations putting us in a strong position when faced with the minefield of questions and problems received from the planning officers.

Thanks to Richard and his team we are pleased to say we have now received planning to go ahead with this building which without his help was becoming doubtful.

The Butcher Family, All Cannings

The team at RCC gave clear and concise advice throughout the project. They were able to forward a very good scheme to the planning department complying with all relevant policies. Communication was very good for the entire length of proposals and discussions resulting in a good outcome.

Mr & Mrs Pearce, Great Cheverell, Wiltshire

Richard and his team have been very helpful in assisting us getting our agricultural workers dwelling planning application granted. He was able to advise and highlight any possible issues before they might occur during the application process. He kept us informed at all stages. Once again many thanks RCC Town Planning for all your hard work.
