Agricultural testimonials

E & V Kidner, Dauntsey

Richard and his team navigated us through a complex Class Q application, converting a number of steel frame agricultural buildings into dwellings. Once this was approved, we then successfully obtained full planning permission using the Class Q as the fallback position.

Throughout the process RCC have offered thorough and practical advice. They have been meticulous with every detail and we always had full confidence in them to help us reach our ambitions for the site.

We received regular updates whilst the applications were under consultation and Richard managed the communication with the council professionally and in a timely manner.

We are incredibly grateful for all your hard work, thank you.

Peter and Claire Townsend, Steeple Ashton

We can unreservedly recommend RCC Town Planning Consultancy - Richard and Vicky were extremely professional and efficient at all times and worked hard to achieve an exceptional result for us.

Caroline Holloway, West Lavington

RCC Town Planning have been unreservedly helpful throughout the whole process of planning. They are always very friendly and completely professional. Our application was by no means straight forward.

They work brilliantly with all other professionals involved, architects, engineers, etc, a real team effort, making sure all points are covered by the relevant parties and never missing a small detail that add to and might make a difference to the success of the application.

Their own report was also excellent, gained by their wide experience and knowledge. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Tony Blake on behalf of the whole Blake family, Wiltshire

Myself and my family are so grateful to RCC planning consultancy for their incredibly reassuring guidance throughout the whole process of obtaining consent for a prior notice on a Dutch barn for conversion to a dwelling, under Part Q of the planning regulations. We have been most impressed with how the RCC team have managed our expectations and ensured meticulous attention to detail throughout the prior discussions and in the preparation of the application. To obtain prior notice consent without any objections or concerns having been expressed by the council or the public is a testimony to the quality of the submission; it left no stone unturned and addressed every likely scenario that the planning officers were likely to question or be concerned about.

For these reasons we would not hesitate in recommending RCC Planning Consultancy to anyone; To sum up, a first class experience in every way.

Mr & Mrs Morley, Calne

Richard gave us very sound advice from the start as we considered what options were available to us for our redundant single story farm buildings.    He guided us towards the most practical solution given our budgetary constraints and co-ordinated all aspects of the application.   When some inconsistent conditions were proposed by the planning authority, Richard and Jenny showed a robust attitude and after explanations were offered, those conditions were dropped.   We are very appreciative of their work and excited about our diversification.

Adrian White, Poulshot

Thank you for your rapid response and successful outcome to lifting the Section 106 planning agreement on our agricultural workers dwelling. The whole process went very smoothly and was professionally carried out.

Mr Steve Melcher, Alfold

I am extremely pleased with this outcome and thanks for the help provided by Richard and Vicky. I have been involved with several planning applications with our local planning office and working with your firm has made a potentially painful experience both hassle free and straightforward.

Mr P Vaughan, Launceston

Richard and the team at RCC town planning helped me to successfully secure a lawful development application for a log cabin. I had previously undertaken a pre-application that had been rejected by the council, which complicated the matter, but through their advice I was able to work around certain issues that the pre-application had thrown up. They kept me informed throughout the process, and were able to suggest options that ultimately ended with the application being granted. The team are friendly and approachable, and made what can be a confusing process straightforward and understandable. I would happily recommend their services.

Mr & Mrs Butler, Avebury Trusloe

Richard and Rachel provided excellent advice and steered us through a potentially difficult planning application as we are based in a World Heritage Site with a number of constraints. Rachel produced a very comprehensive application for us and helped us secure a successful outcome. They have many excellent contacts and we would have no hesitation in recommending or using RCC Town Planning Consultancy in the future.

Gary Dalton, Tenant farmer at Bushton Farm

At Bushton Farm we had a challenging planning proposal and Kevin Haines of Haines construction recommended RCC Town Planning Consultancy. We followed this recommendation and found Richard to have a great deal of knowledge and a positive attitude throughout the application. Our landlord was surprised at our result and commented “you must have engaged a very good planning advisor”. Richard was able to answer questions promptly. Also involved in this case was Max Seally of White Avon Consultancy in an agricultural capacity.

J and M Bodman Ltd, Urchfont

Having used Richard Cosker in a previous planning application which led to a successful decision notice, we had no hesitation in seeking his expert help and advice on achieving planning permission for a second agricultural dwelling that was proving to be difficult.

His expert knowledge and tenacity helped guide us through the negotiations putting us in a strong position when faced with the minefield of questions and problems received from the planning officers.

Thanks to Richard and his team we are pleased to say we have now received planning to go ahead with this building which without his help was becoming doubtful.

Mr & Mrs Pearce, Great Cheverell, Wiltshire

Richard and his team have been very helpful in assisting us getting our agricultural workers dwelling planning application granted. He was able to advise and highlight any possible issues before they might occur during the application process. He kept us informed at all stages. Once again many thanks RCC Town Planning for all your hard work.

James King, Uphill Farm, Urchfont

I would like to say that we were very pleased and impressed with the success of our planning application for an agricultural dwelling on our farm, I think the approach and attention to the specific details involved was just what was wanted, it was as though you were one of us and really wanted to succeed, and at the end of the day the cost was very reasonable, I shall be using your services again if needed in the future.
