Richard is the founder and Director of RCC Town Planning Consultancy. His vision and commitment has driven the development and growing reputation of the company. His ambition to provide and maintain the highest of standards has resulted in a successful planning consultancy with unsurpassed client satisfaction.
Richard underpins this ethos with professional knowledge and experience, having achieved an Honours Degree and post graduate Diploma in Town Planning and gained extensive experience within local government as a Team Leader. He brings this invaluable knowledge of how planning authorities work to RCC Town Planning Consultancy, where he has provided specialist planning services for clients since 2009. Richard is a corporate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI): a nationally recognised mark of professional planning expertise.
Vicky is a qualified Town Planner with a wealth of experience having worked in the public and private sectors for over 20 years. During her time in the public sector Vicky’s versatility enabled her to work successfully in both development management and the local planning teams. Vicky has a detailed and comprehensive knowledge of planning matters and has extensive experience of dealing with large residential and solar development projects.
These have included complicated and controversial large sites that have involved Environmental Statements and as such she is used to the pressures of managing large scale projects successfully and with confidence. Vicky is a skilled and effective communicator with client care at the focus of her work. This ability to work collaboratively is particularly essential in larger complex projects.
Jenny is a qualified Town Planner with a breadth of knowledge and experience in Development Management in both public and private sectors. Following her time working in local government she returned to work as a consultant for Kennet District Council, dealing with specialist planning applications relating to a large scale and long term military infrastructure project, which required focus, consistency and excellent organisational skills.
Jenny brings these qualities to her work at RCC along with a diversity of planning experience. Jenny particularly excels in detailed report writing and planning appeal statements with a real attention to detail. Such a focused and comprehensive approach is critical in being able to present a thorough and robust planning case in support of client’s proposals.
Rachel is a qualified town planner with a First Degree in Estate Management and a Master’s Degree in Town Planning. She has over fifteen years of experience in both the public sector as a senior planning officer and as an associate with RCC. Rachel has an extensive and thorough knowledge across a wide range of planning matters with a particular expertise in equestrian and agricultural matters.
Her background in estate management also means she can provide valuable input with applications where viability assessments are being used. Rachel has an in-depth knowledge of planning law and the ever-changing planning policies and guidance issued at the local and national level. Rachel therefore has a particular aptitude in dealing with a wide variety of planning proposals across a number of local council areas.
