Outline planning permission granted for single dwelling in Wiltshire

RCC has worked on this site for some time and, due to multiple planning issues on the site we first did a pre-application enquiry to help resolve some of those issues. Come the full planning application the council planners fully accepted our case for a single dwelling on this site but we still needed to resolve the Nutrient Neutrality issue. We instructed a suitable consultant to prepare the required information and then we set out securing our clients the necessary credits to address the required mitigation.

With these matters now resolve the permission has been granted and we can move on to the next stages of developing this site.

In 2013 the Government introduced new permitted development rights to allow office buildings to be converted to residential use. This was for an initial temporary period of 3 years but they subsequently made the new rights permanent in 2016.

RCC was brought on board by PKA Architects when they were approached by a developer proposing a mixed use development on a vacant site in Devizes town centre. The site accommodated a single storey clinic building and car park but historically there would have been a building on the main road frontage
