We can unreservedly recommend RCC Town Planning Consultancy - Richard and Vicky were extremely professional and efficient at all times and worked hard to achieve an exceptional result for us.
We have valued the expertise of Richard Cosker and his team in helping us obtain planning permission on a redundant chapel, but at the same time there was recognition of the sensitivity needed for this project
Richard is very approachable and responds quickly to any queries. He has advised us in the past on the advisability of putting in for planning and we are delighted that Richard and his team have successfully got planning approval through for us to enlarge the present holiday accommodation and/or as an ancillary annexe with no hiccups and well within the 8 week period allocated.
We would whole- heartedly recommend them
Richard and his team at RCC Town planning acted for us to resubmit a planning application for holiday lets in place of a 5 bay new build stable block with planning permission. Unfortunately the application was refused by Wiltshire Council planners.
Richard recommended going to appeal. During our appeal against the refusal of Planning Permission RCC made the appeal process simple and effective using all there vast experience setting out convincing statements to the Inspectorate which ultimately allowed the appeal and our Planning Permission was granted.
I would not hesitate to use RCC Town Planning services in the future and would highly recommend them.
Thank you Richard & all your team.
Richard gave us very sound advice from the start as we considered what options were available to us for our redundant single story farm buildings. He guided us towards the most practical solution given our budgetary constraints and co-ordinated all aspects of the application. When some inconsistent conditions were proposed by the planning authority, Richard and Jenny showed a robust attitude and after explanations were offered, those conditions were dropped. We are very appreciative of their work and excited about our diversification.
Following a long neighbourly dispute about the use of our garden outbuilding we engaged Richard to apply for formal permission to use the building as a holiday let. Richard and his assistant Rachel drew up a detailed planning statement and followed through the application process and resulting queries in a thoroughly balanced and professional manner. The outcome was positive and I have already recommended RCC to others.
I cannot thank Richard and his team enough for all there assistance in helping us gain planning permission for both residential and commercial projects. The whole process was carried out in a professional and straightforward manner.
Richard and Rachel provided excellent advice and steered us through a potentially difficult planning application as we are based in a World Heritage Site with a number of constraints. Rachel produced a very comprehensive application for us and helped us secure a successful outcome. They have many excellent contacts and we would have no hesitation in recommending or using RCC Town Planning Consultancy in the future.
On behalf of the Self family, we would like to sincerely thank Richard and the RCC Town Planning team for their hard work and dedication in achieving being granted full permission by the Wiltshire strategic planning committee for the reordering and extension to our family run Whitehall Garden Centre at Lacock (www.whitehallgardencentre.co.uk).
Our application was always going to be complicated with many historic, difficult and sensitive issues and being in a sensitive rural area, Richard carefully and expertly put together the planning application for which we received very little objection and a huge amount of support after our community and customer consultation events.
Following our initial Pre App meeting with the Local Planning officer, Richard coordinated the team of outsourced consultants required to report on the application and continued liaising with the Planning team and dealt with their enquiries promptly and kept the application flowing.
We cannot speak highly enough of the quality of service we have received from Richard and his team and would fully recommend their services.
We were very pleased we have been with the services of Richard Cosker of RCC Town Planning Consultancy. The company handled quickly and efficiently all details of our application to change the use of our office building into residential apartments. Any problems were quickly resolved and our application was submitted according to plan. The granting of permission was of PDR was successful a few days in advance of the statutory expected date. I have no hesitation in recommending RCC Town Planning Consultancy.
On behalf of Gaiger Solar Ltd, we would like to thank RCC Town Planning for their work on the successful granting under delegated powers of planning permission for our 20MW solar farm in Trowbridge. This application was always going to be a difficult one due to being in a Greenbelt area, but RCC Town Planning carefully and expertly put together a planning application that received only one objection and many letters of support. Throughout the whole process RCC Town Planning kept us fully up to date with everything and kept to the timescales required in what has ended up being a time critical project. We cannot speak highly enough of the quality of service that we have received from RCC Town Planning, and would recommend their services to anyone.
After many years of disappointment working with various planning consultants we fortunately found RCC Town Planning Consultancy. With Richard Cosker’s expertise, knowledge and highly professional services a full planning permission was granted. This was a complicated application with many difficult and sensitive issues. Richard dealt with each stage promptly and we are extremely grateful for the friendly support and constant communication he provided. We highly recommend RCC and cannot thank Richard and his team enough.
Richard and Victoria of RCC Town Planning Consultancy were a complete joy to work with, they offered a comprehensive service and talked through each stage in layman’s terms, which we believe is the key to explaining the many complex rules around planning, so we as clients were able to fully understand each stage of the process. In our case the change of use application for our business (www.gentlearttattoostudio.co.uk) was one of the more controversial applications and RCC were able to secure it for us. I would recommend anyone to use their service.
RCC Town Planning Consultancy has assisted Wadworth & Co. Ltd with a number of projects over the last twelve months. I have found his knowledge of Planning to be excellent providing invaluable advice, support and guidance through complicated and difficult issues.
The Planning process can be a long drawn out process. Richard has always maintained regular communication so that I am fully aware of the status of preliminary enquires and full applications. Richard has provided an all round service and has successfully negotiated with the Planners changes or amendments without compromising the final outcome.
Planning consent for the development of a golf driving range is always difficult to obtain. Richard Cosker’s professional and thorough approach from the start was second to none. He worked hard, beyond my expectations, to overcome the various problems that came to light. I would recommend RCC Town Planning Consultancy to anyone needing planning approval for any project.
I was very happy with the advice and you took all of the hassle out of the planning process which ran smoothly and achieved the desired result.
Latest commercial case studies:
This site was the main warehouse and distribution premises for the Devizes based brewery Wadworth & Co Ltd, containing workshops and stabling for shire horses. RCC became involved in this site to act on behalf of the brewery who intended to reorganise their activities and operations whereby the main site would become redundant as a result.
Sixpenny Nurseries have a small group of nurseries in Wiltshire. Their lease in Devizes was ending and new premise was a priority. RCC discussed possible options with them but a number of possible sites raised issues concerning the potential impact of the proposed use on traffic and residential amenity of an area.
RCC was asked by the architects for this job (PKA Architects) to assist them by submitting a planning application for a farm diversification proposal. The proposal, on a dairy farm, was to establish a micro ice cream factory within an existing small agricultural building whilst then building an additional linked building to house a café.
