Gaigers site

Gaigers site

Posted

This site was the main warehouse and distribution premises for the Devizes based brewery Wadworth & Co Ltd, containing workshops and stabling for shire horses. RCC became involved in this site to act on behalf of the brewery who intended to reorganise their activities and operations whereby the main site would become redundant as a result.

Building prior to approved works

The main site was then placed on the market. Another of RCC’s clients, Gaiger brothers bought this site for the purpose of amalgamating all three of their own current premises and operations into this one site – creating their main office and yard. Once this decision was made RCC were involved in advising Gaiger brothers and their architect as how best to adjust the site to meet their needs. RCC then submitted a planning application on their behalf for the physical works and change of use proposed.

Site plan

Work is now well underway to transform the site into their new ‘headquarters’ and our attention has now turned to the re-use and redevelopment of their old, soon to become vacant, other sites.

Latest commercial testimonials:

Mr and Mrs Humphries, Dilton Marsh

After doing a lot of research on planning consultants, we felt Richard Cosker and his team were best placed to help us achieve planning permission for our new build house.

It was a complicated application as the land was classed as agricultural with a Boarding Cattery business running on the site too.

Richard and Jenny are so knowledgeable and professional, and the planning statement they submitted left little room for the council to argue a negative outcome! We were granted outline planning permission for a 3 bedroom house, followed a few months later by full planning permission for our dream house.

We cannot recommend this company enough, very happy clients, thank you!

Peter and Claire Townsend, Steeple Ashton

We can unreservedly recommend RCC Town Planning Consultancy - Richard and Vicky were extremely professional and efficient at all times and worked hard to achieve an exceptional result for us.

Revd David Gray, Superintendent Minister North Wiltshire Methodist Circuit

We have valued the expertise of Richard Cosker and his team in helping us obtain planning permission on a redundant chapel, but at the same time there was recognition of the sensitivity needed for this project
