Additional chicken shed approved in Hampshire
Updated
RCC previously attained approved for two chicken sheds and access track for a new free range chicken enterprise in Hampshire. We were so pleased to here that the business was doing well and our client needed a further shed. The previous application had been done using permitted development rights but that wasn't possible this time and as such a full application was needed.
We did get some pushback from the council's landscape officer but that was dealt with by RCC preparing and submitted some further information and a rebuttal to the comments made. The ecology officer also raised issues concerning our Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) submissions (the previous applications weren't subject to BNG) but our ecology consultant pushed back resulting in the objection being withdrawn.
As ever, no planning application is straightforward, but it is always good when objections and issues are overcome.
