The property was in a prominent position in a conservation area and close to some listed buildings. There was also a close relationship with a neighbouring property to take account of.
We introduced PKA architects to our clients as we felt they would be a good fit for what they were trying to achieve. The resulting dwelling was in our view very appropriate for the site and would make a positive contribution to the conservation area. We were very pleased when the planning and conservation officers fully agreed and the permission was granted under delegated powers.
