The buildings had been subject to a number of previous uses but the council had always resisted the buildings being used as unrestricted open market dwellings, mainly due to the lack of private gardens. However, following a robust planning submission, the council have now agreed to the proposal and our clients can market these unrestricted dwellings.

In 2013 the Government introduced new permitted development rights to allow office buildings to be converted to residential use. This was for an initial temporary period of 3 years but they subsequently made the new rights permanent in 2016.
