A separate application to make alterations and upgrades to the existing bungalow had been approved but the key to the success of this site was the application for a dormer bungalow in the side garden.

As can be seen from the above proposed layout, the site was quite restricted and the proposal was subject to numerous objections of over development.  However RCC had previously obtained planning permission for a similar infill development for a previous client in the next street and as such we were able to make a robust planning case in support of this proposal.  

After protracted negotiations and some amendments planning permission was granted under delegated powers.
