The clients had previously undertaken a pre-application enquiry with the council which raised a number of issues. We were able to advise on those issues and use our contacts for other consultants that would be needed with this project (highways, ecology and trees were key issues). Together we presented a robust argument to support the proposal and, whilst additional negotiations with the council were needed, ultimately the application was successful.
