The property was on the garden of a bungalow owned by our housing association client and the proposal was to split of the side garden and create a plot for a further bungalow whilst ensuring the existing bungalow had sufficient garden space and parking. The result was modest one bedroom dwelling which makes the best use of this site and provides a much needed new dwelling

In 2013 the Government introduced new permitted development rights to allow office buildings to be converted to residential use. This was for an initial temporary period of 3 years but they subsequently made the new rights permanent in 2016.
