Such Section 73 applications allow for a variety of amendments and in this case there were modest changes in the size of the dwellings and to the some of the design features of the dwellings.

RCC had been engaged by the previous landowner to help attain planning permission to demolish their single house and replace it with seven houses.  The site had subsequently been purchased by a developer who, on reviewing the planning permission, wanted to make some changes, some things that is not uncommon.  The developer approached RCC for their input and advice on the proposals and were then engaged to help work up the design changes and then prepare and submit the planning application to the council.

Even though this was a quite contentious application first time around RCC were delighted when the council approved the amended application with the minimum of delay.
