The post office was in a village location and our client had tried to market it and also to relocate it within the village but with no success.  They had also previously asked the council to change the use of the post office as part of a pre-application enquiry but had had a negative response.  RCC were asked to advise on this situation and then we quickly set about building a case in support of the proposal and submitting a formal planning application.  We were delighted when the council agreed that we had set out a sufficiently robust case to support the application and the application was approved under delegated powers.
