We were approached by the owner who had previously had issues with the planning department when the building was first built a number of years ago. They were understandably concerned about the proposal to now use the building as a holiday let and ask RCC to review the planning history and assess the proposal against local and national planning policy. We felt we had a very strong case to support the proposal and as such we were instructed to prepare and submit a planning application on their behalf. We ensured that as robust a case as possible was set out with the application and we were delighted when approval was given under delegated powers.
