The applicants had previously tried to attain a certificate of lawfulness for the use but this had been rejected due to lack of evidence. RCC were therefore asked to review the situation and advise on the best way forward. In this instance, whilst it was clear that this was a long standing caravan and camp site use, the complexities of the lawfulness route was such that we advised that a planning application for the use was the best way forward. We are delighted that permission has now been granted ready in time for the peak season.
