We had previously attained permission to convert a much larger agricultural building into an office use on this farm in Wiltshire. This left the previous smaller officer building surplus to requirements and unfortunately a planning condition on the original permission for this brick building prevented us using the permitted development rights to convert to residential use.
As such a full application was required and this proposal then had to be considered against both local and national planning policy. A proposal that is far from straightforward in a countryside location in Wiltshire. We were therefore extremely please to attain permission under delegated powers within the normal timescales.
